During construction

  • Punch list and closeout before final payment

Questions owners ask

What does an owner’s representative do?

An owner’s rep works for you, not the builder. We help you choose the right contractor, keep the project on schedule and on budget, and make sure you understand every decision and cost before it is final.

When should I bring in an owner’s rep?

As early as possible, ideally before you sign with an architect or builder. Most of the value is in setting up the contract, budget and schedule correctly. We can also step in partway through a project that has started to drift.

Will the builder mind?

Good builders are used to working with owner’s reps. Clear decisions and organized paperwork make their job easier too.
